On Saturday September 17, 2016 our 90th anniversary event took place in Leerhotel Het Klooster in Amersfoort. During the event, attention was paid to the changing world of both Aesculaap and the veterinarians. But how can the vet deal with this changing world? Speakers Astrid Oversier and Wouter de Vries shared their thoughts on this. And we ended this fantastic day while enjoying a snack and drink. On Saturday September 17, 2016 our 90th anniversary event took place in Leerhotel Het Klooster in Amersfoort. The event was opened by our sales manager Petra Sannes-Reijnen in the church hall of this former monastery. Following this, all those present were personally welcomed by director Nanno Mulder.
During the foreword, attention was paid to the changing world of both Aesculaap and veterinarians. For example, chain formation is a phenomenon that is becoming increasingly common in the veterinary world, just like veterinarians based in garden centers. But the world of Aesculaap is also subject to change. For example, services are becoming increasingly important in order to optimally support the veterinarian as a service provider. Think of services such as E-mail marketing or our Recipe-at-home service.
We don't know exactly how the world will change, but it is certain that it will change. But how can the vet deal with this changing world? Speakers Astrid Oversier and Wouter de Vries shared their thoughts on this.
Astrid Oversier specializes in business models. A business model answers 4 questions: Who (are your customers)?; What (are the problems to be solved)?; How (is value proposition created)?; Why (does the business model generate profit)?
Wouter de Vries specializes in services marketing, in which distinctiveness plays a major role. In this he focuses on 4 B's: Need (of your customer); Promise (what do you stand for); Experience (how does the customer experience it) and ultimately Evidence (what evidence did you generate at the end of the year).
During the closing speech, the sponsors Fendigo, Merial, AST, Krka, Bayer and Zoetis were again thanked for their contributions. Finally, all those present were invited for a snack and drink in the church hall.
On behalf of the entire team of Aesculaap we thank all those present for coming!
