October 26, 2016 was Harrie Beks' last working day at Aesculaap. Harrie has worked at Aesculaap throughout his career, 46 years to be exact. After all these loyal years it's time to enjoy his well-deserved retirement. We will miss Harrie as a cheerful colleague in the workplace, but wish him a wonderful retirement!

On Saturday September 17, 2016 our 90th anniversary event took place in Leerhotel Het Klooster in Amersfoort. Aesculaap is now on the eve of launching a concept for veterinary practices under the name "Samenwerking Dierenartsen Nederland". Ton Bos was involved in many successful concepts from the retail wholesale group a long time ago. Fairly new for the veterinary retail market, but it has been successfully implemented in pharmacies a long time ago and many lessons have been learned there too. We have now involved Peter Felen of the Apotheek Totaalgroep and co-developer of the pharmacy concept "Kring" to be able to effectively apply the lessons learned in practice.
